We can see the massive amount of turmoil that has been caused since RBG was reported dead. I say reported, for there is a lot of speculation that the woman has been dead quite a long time; given how the responses of the dems was not to fill the spot until after the election is telling, they knew she was dead too, it really does't appear to come as a shock to any of them. 4686 gave 2 sets of days to watch -- SEPT 14-18, 21-25, was this waiting for the proper time to let the info out that RBG had shaken off this mortal coil to exude maximum effect?
This is massive shift in who is calling the narrative now. I imagine we'll see the riots dying down now. This is so huge that this will be the number one daily news item until November. It will also provide "cover" for more behind the scenes action to take place. The Repubs hold the Senate and can drive the hearings/vote forward. There is nothing in the Constitution that prevents a selection and vote of a new justice from taking place at this time. This also puts the SC in a position to combat or even stop any "legal" challenges due to mail in vote fraud before they are brought in.
This past week has certainly had a feeling of building momentum. The week was capped off with the death of RBG. What happens on 9/25?

There is such a thing as recess appointments.
Normally the SC replacement isn't done in the waning days of a president, right before an election. It is just courtesy. In this case, though, Trump might use the recess appointment to place a temporary in RBG's seat, just in case there is a contested election. All the needs to happen is McConnell needs to recess the senate.
