Pope Francis declined to see Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who is demanding a harder Vatican line on China. The Holy See said meeting just before a U.S. election would be inappropriate.

ROME — Secretary of State Mike Pompeo recently published a sharp letter excoriating the Vatican’s plans to renew an agreement with the Chinese government on Church operations in China. He promoted the article in a tweet, concluding, “The Vatican endangers its moral authority, should it renew the deal.”
An indignant Vatican took the article more as a calculated affront than a diplomatic gesture. The friction broke into the open on Wednesday as Mr. Pompeo arrived in Rome and met with prelates and others who are hostile to Pope Francis, while the Vatican denied him a meeting with the pontiff and rebuffed his efforts to derail the deal with China.
“Pompeo asked to meet” the pope, who turned him down because Francis had “clearly said that he does not receive political figures ahead of the elections,” Cardinal Pietro Parolin, who, as secretary of state, is the Vatican’s second-ranking official, told reporters.
But to some observers on both sides of the tensions between the Roman Catholic Church and the Trump administration, Mr. Pompeo’s visit is as much about the coming presidential election as about China policy. Mr. Pompeo dismissed that suggestion as absurd, but intended or not, his trip signals that President Trump is on the side of those conservative American Catholics who worry about the church’s direction under Francis and think he is soft on China.
Francis and Mr. Trump, who have exchanged sharp words in the past, present starkly different visions on issues ranging from the environment to immigration to the threat of populism. In appealing to the Vatican’s support for religious freedom as a reason to drop its China agreement, Mr. Pompeo seemed to seek common ground, but in a way that upset the pope’s chief allies and delighted his chief critics.
Cardinal Parolin said Mr. Pompeo’s article had caused “surprise” at the Vatican, because this visit to Rome by the secretary and the meetings with high officials at the Holy See had already been in the works and would have been a “more opportune” forum for airing grievances. He added that Mr. Pompeo’s choice to publish in First Things, a conservative Christian magazine that has called Francis a failure as Pope, also mattered.

Sen. McConnell has several quite odd turns of phrases in his remarks... I am going to have to go back and study them closely.
So, its about a kind of narrative synchronicity between The Hunger Games trilogy of films and Q symbology.
If you kinda see what I am getting at, you really, really should read the books (Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Mockingjay) and the prequel that just came out recently 'The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes'.

I have two follow-up questions, if you don't mind:
Has Q made any mention of Hunger Games before? I definitely see the similar theme with the clocks, but surely there are lots of movies and stories that use clock imagery. I've seen people on here mention that scene before, but I'm not sure what led to this movie being a focus of analysis. Maybe I would understand more if I read the book, like you said. I know you shared those videos of the lightning, but I would be really convinced if Q posted something related to lightning on the 12 o'clock hour.
And if this theory about that scene from the series is correct, what does that mean exactly? Does it mean that tomorrow's drops will be at 1am and 1pm? Are we counting down to 10/10 for the "big [red] wave"?
I do not recall a specific mention, but a lot of weird stuff has happened to point to midnight happenings, like Bob Dylan putting a 17 minute song about the JFK assassination (Murder Most Foul) on the internet at 12:00 ET midnight a few months back, after not releasing a song for 17 years.
One other thing that was a definite line of bearing hit was one of the main characters in the third book, Mockingjay, who leads District 13, President Coin.
Now, I've read a lot of books... and watched a lot of movies and TV, never once recalled the name Coin.
What makes it stand out even more is the name geography of the Hunger Games books. Overwhelming research into Latin names and plant / flower names for the characters... except President Coin.

You really have to study it, and literally sleep on it a few nights... and you wake up in the morning... going "oh, yeah, now that all makes sense."
Then I started going back through my DVD movie collection... and guess what... I started finding COINS. What's more... once you find a director... who uses COIN in scene settings... then get all his movies... its flat out freaky to consider the implications of just how well and how long Q has been planning what we are living through... truly a great awakening.

There is so much in the Hunger Games books and the films that have helped me get a handle on what the hell is going on... and believe me... the election is important, but only a part of something very very big.
Get the books - The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Mockingjay... get the 4 films made from the books... study them, don't just watch them, study them... read some, watch some every day... then sleep on it. You will be amazed.
Then when you know you have a handle on that, read The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (the prequel to both the books and the films). Won't spoil that for you... but you will be amazed.

Patterns have presented themselves through the graphic display of the times on the charts. Based on what I have observed, I am going to provide that link to the arena clip one more time below... and look what happens when the Games Master (guy in the control room) observes that the Katniss and the others have figured out the clock and the tree and the sequence of dangers based on the noon / midnight tree reference point.

So, the times do change up when lightning strikes (and I am assuming where lightning strikes), and the opposite time wedge is not always where the next cluster of Q-drops or POTUS twitter storms will occur.
But when it does, it is something to see.

I have not been able to be predictive with the time chart/maps, but that is okay.

Some time back I began charting / mapping POTUS Tweets, Q-Drops, Press Briefings (at the White House / with or without POTUS), POTUS speeches, POTUS rallies... if the President speaks publicly I map it to one of two ZULU time clock graphs (00:00 to 12:00 and 12:00 to 00:00.
Over time some very interesting patterns developed, and over a longer period I began comparing what was charted to a sun-clock to analyze day / night timing of drops (worldwide analysis)... and what small lingering doubt I had about Q being a larp flew right out the window.

I traced over MT2 in red ink (circumference / radii), and labeled the time hacks along the outer circumference in red before making working copies to make it easy to visually differentiate a given day's two charts. The other one I kept the black outline and time hacks.
You have to convert all the Q drops, POTUS tweets, and other event times to ZULU time - I use a Retro Computation Notebook (AMPAD brand / 11 3/4 by 9 1/4, ruled 4 squares / inch 75 sheets (Office Supply online). The graphed pages make it easy to make entries / and when it is on the page, neatly penned it, is when magic happens... you can't help but see the patterns... Entries would look like

You do not need to list the date -- just put a big header at the top of the page like 1 OCTOBER 2020 and if you get more than one page of entries continue on the next page in your notebook... you've got to use a notebook, no loose pages, you'll drive yourself crazy.
Of course you have to condense the entries... write smallish, you want only one entry per line (trust me). You can write small and get maybe three lines of entered text in one line on the page... but there is often a core message that will suffice. Be sure to maintain any odd capitalization in tweets or Q drops... (trust me).
Use fine point pen on your listings of POTUS tweets . Q drops / Pencil on the charts.
Start a given day's tweet/drop list on a new page with the earliest tweet or drop for that day (say it is at Q- 4321 00:10:90... and end that day's listing with the last tweet drop for that day... remember you have to convert all times, for everything, to be charted, to ZULU time. When you have made the last entry for that day... say at 23:57:00... stop putting any entries on that page - Put a big X to cover any open space left on that page.
Use qagg.news with the POTOS option ON so that your display automatically collates Q drops and POTUS tweets. Use the light scheme vice dark scheme or your eyes will fall out,
Select DISPLAY OPTIONS, and check the option for FORCE TIMES TO EST/EDT (Eastern Standard Time / Easter Daylight (savings) Time. Always, always, always check and be sure you have that option selected. Sometimes it resets when you access qagg.news... sometime it doesn't (learned the hard way).
Once your have a complete list of a given days tweets and drops listed and converted to ZULU time, you are ready to transfer them to the time charts.
Charting POTUS tweets and Q drops:
Note, 01:00 to 02:00 is a one hour time span on the time chart. Half that will be 01:30... each half of that 01:15 and 01:45 respectively. (You don't need to mark these times on the outer circumference - you can eyeball it quite easily.
Let's say there is a POTUS tweet at 01:30:25. Draw a line of radius from the center of the "clock" on the MT1 template to the 01:30 point on the circumference. Along this line make a notation "P-15826 (for the specific tweet) and then pick a key word or two or three (Testing / Ventilators / Vaccine // or Vote > J. Smith ND). Q drop example Q-4236 PANIC F/B Hateful Meme Challenge 100K. The idea is not to recreate the entire message, just to plot the fact of and a few keywords.
Watch for mistakes, or apparent mistakes (out of sequence posts, mainly in the POTUS tweet numbers). They form a pattern. Have fun breaking that coding. Watch for stutter (double posts) groups, they form a pattern. Have fun breaking that coding. In annotating a tweet or drop, pay attention to CAPITALIZATION. These are keywords. Pay attention to misspellings, be sure to annotate them. Advise again, use fine point, dark pencil lead for all the communications and events mapping - you will make mistakes - even after you have mastered the details of this exercise - you will make mistakes - use pencil).
Once you have charted a day's tweets and drops, you can add in rallies, press briefings (even the ones at the Marine One), debates, tv interviews (live times or broadcast times, whatever you can get). Big difference, these are events that can last 5 minutes or two hours. Once you have a start and end time for an event, draw a radius line at the start time, and another line at the end time. Then, using a light colored color pencil - shade it in and label it, RALLY, JACKSONVILLE FLA, at the beginning and ending lines, Use one color, green for example if the President is present at the event, blue if only McEnany is holding the press briefing that day, split it if the President speaks for 30 minutes, but leaves, and some other speaker finishes the W.H. press briefing. You will not be able to get every event, but you will get enough to see how the tweets and Q drops are planned and not random at all.
Times for events can be a challenge. You can get all the White House event times off the website:

You find that a lot of the listings there will have beginning time on the first page of a listing and the end time on the last page.
Times are not always available on youtube clips but your can use the clips to find out how long an event is. Don't go by what length of time shows on the time bar on the bottom of a clip, check the actual time the President is on camera and or speaking, there is often a difference between the two... be as accurate as you can. Anyway, once you have the length of time an event lasted... you can go to the POTUS daily schedule page and get pretty close to a start time... just do the best you can in these cases.
Don't worry about pinpoint accuracy in filling in your radius lines on the time chart graphs. Sometime you can have 4 or 5 tweets within one minute. I fudge that like this:

Here is the main thing to watch out for... the transition from the chart with 11:00 - 12:00 ZULU (morning to noon hours) - and switching over to the chart 12:00 - 13:00 (noon to midnight) chart and from the chart with 23:00 - 00:00 to the chart with 00:00 - 01:00. This will be confusing at first, but you will get use to it. Make a time conversion chart with three columns.... assume you are 5 hours behind EDT time and 9 hours behind Zulu time (some where on a boat in the Pacific Ocean)

What falls out is the communications coordination schedule that brackets events, attacks opponents during their events, and shows what is targeted for international information by using the sun clock (know what the morning and evening news cycle times are for Australia, East Asia, Central Eurasian, Eastern Europe, Eastern Africa, Europe, Central Africa, UK, East Africa, Eastern South America, Central South America, Eastern Canada, East Coast U.S., Central Canada, Central U.S., Western Canada, West Coast U.S. No larp this.
Why two 12 hour Zulu clocks and not one.

• The Information Contest:
The flow of information (intelligence and influence) is as important to insurgents as it is to counterinsurgents. A COIN campaign should seek to limit the intelligence available to the insurgents through use of counterintelligence, deception and where possible their physical separation from the populace. Similarly, the ability of the insurgents to exert influence should be restricted by physical separation and by the pre-emption and timely countering of their messages.
Influence activities (actions and messages) can be proactive or reactive. Being proactive gives a significant influence advantage, since the first impression or report of an event that reaches a population will often receive the widest exposure and will subsequently be most resistant to alternative accounts. The insurgents that are most effective in this field design whole operations to support their influence themes. Successful COIN requires an approach to influence which is similarly proactive, entrepreneurial and prolific in ‘selling’ messages.
That said, the imperative to counter insurgent messages demands a reactive element to our influence activities. Speed is of the essence. The longer it takes for a rebuttal, denial or counter-message to be released, the less relevant and effective it will be. Cumulatively, whichever protagonist (insurgent or counterinsurgent) is fastest at processing the cycle of messaging will have a significant advantage in gaining influence. Some of the counterinsurgents’ delay in response will be derived from the need to investigate events and establish facts (a constraint from which insurgents are often exempt), though a holding response is generally preferable to silence. Less justifiable is the delay inherent in lengthy approvals processes.
The time sensitivity of reactive influence requires counterinsurgents to employ delegation of authority, universal understanding of the narrative and a degree of risk-tolerance throughout the command chain. This has strong parallels to the military concept of the OODA loop (Observe – Orient – Decide – Act) and the theory of the mission oriented approach.
Up to this point, the deep state have been masters of this - applying a requirement that anyone going against their narrative must provide well-researched, fact-based repudiation while they spew speculation, misinformation, and misdirection. And once they are proven wrong the message simply disappears, only to be replaced by the next lie.
Now that we have President Trump and others fighting back on our behalf along with us, we are suddenly 'unpresidential, uncivilized, bullies, etc.' Meanwhile the deep state has engaged in exactly this form of guerilla warfare for decades.
