Q is correct from an operational perspective that there is Q and there are anons and that's it. (Also ignoring Q+ and all those stuff for now, haha.)
However, Qanon can be considered the commonly-used cultural label -- such labels arise through community consensus. Easier than saying (or typing) "Q community". It's just a label, which in today's social age, people use them for identification, marketing, branding, etc. There is no good or bad about it -- labels happen.
For better or worse, we are stuck with this label. Fake News attack the Qanon label to turn normal folks away. It's war, we know that already. No biggie. I don't care much about labels anyway.
