AND THEN there are movies. People love movies about WW3, apocalypses, disasters, alien invasions etc. and fantasize about what they would do if that were reality. They see the good guys winning in the end, and humanity recovering.
The vast majority of normies are subconsciously mentally prepared for this and can somewhat cope with the shock of a world-altering event while they are sitting safely at home with their family.
There are almost 3,000 billionaires around the world. Most normies would accept the fact that statistically at least 1 of them might be a serial-rapist pedophile who won't get caught.
Then expand that number to 1,000,000+ (even several million) people around the world who are multi-millionaires or politicians/any position of power, who would be capable of getting away with similar crimes.
And most normies would probably accept that several dozen or a few hundred could be serial-rapist murderers and some of them might be working together.
But any number higher than a few hundred would start being incomprehensible and too horrific to believe. None of us want to believe this, we all wish it wasn't true. So again I don't blame normies for not wanting to spend time thinking "Even if it's not true, is it in the realms of possibility?"
But, when the arrests happen, and we get the emergency broadcasts, I assume it may be video confessions in military tribunals, and perhaps videos of soldiers walking around underground bunkers showing prison cells of where the children were kept, or anything else.
