Do you ask your friends to pray for you?

Only the ones who haven't died yet.

Deuteronomy 18:10-12

10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.

11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

From Webster's 1828 dictionary (the best dictionary for those reading the King James version of the Bible)-

NECROMANCER, noun [See Necromancy.] One who pretends to foretell future events by holding converse with departed spirits; a conjurer.

NECROMANCY, noun [Gr. Dead, and divination.]

1. The art of revealing future events by means of a pretended communication with the dead. This imposture is prohibited. Deuteronomy 18:1.

2. Enchantment; conjuration.

Convince me what the Catholics say about Mary appearing in Medugorje (not the Roman Catholic Church says officially, but what the faithful believe is happening there) is not necromancy.

Isn't Mary of Medugorje already on her third secret by now?

Didn't the Apostle Paul write, "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light?"

Should it surprise us if Satan appears as Mary and accurately predicts the future on this planet if he's still in temporary control (until the return of Christ)?
