(Their other job, as he stated, is to stabilize inflation. Not to eliminate inflation, but to stabilize it!)
So no wonder some people are out of work, and some just say "screw it." Because they realize that getting steady, decent work has always been physically impossible for a certain number of the public. And when jobs are scarce, employers can abuse their employees at their whim, because they know that nobody wants to lose their job, especially if they have family responsibilities.
