My great grandmother only spoke Norwegian, my parents and grandparents both spoke it, they did not teach us, they used it to keep secrets from us,I do know quite a few swear words lol.

My great uncle served in WWII, He told me he was with the unit that liberated the concentration camps, and that I was the only person he ever told I felt so honored. I wish I knew more about my family history but my dad has been gone since 2007 and so is most of that side of the family sadly
