The first wrong assumption is that the Republican Party is in opposition to the lefts agenda. It isnt. The Partys are there to give the illusion of a two party system but make no mistake they are in lockstep. And why would you think the Republican Party would defend President Trump? Is it because they have done such a wonderful job with the 200 M+ that people donated to combat the fraud?

Secondly the OP assumes that 2022 will not be stolen. If they have President Trump under lock and key there isnt a voice in the world powerful enough to prevent an all out steal with little effort at covering it up. They wont have to engage in such nonsense, we will have lost.

And with Trump arrested we would probably be at some stage of civil war and they would most likely just bag the election in its entirety.

Nope the original OP is correct. Without devolution they would have probably arrested Trump by now and have cinched our chains tight. They are no longer trying to hide thier intentions.
