In Washington state, we've been getting massive rain storms, sometimes with wind, week after week after week since October. They now call those storms atmospheric rivers. They used to be called the Pineapple Express--builds up in the Pacific near Hawaii and then hits WA, OR, and CA. I first heard the term the winter of 2020, I thought, "What?!? Is that on our 2020 Bingo card?"

I'm sure they are messing with weather worldwide but I think this is just a name change.
