There was a lot of good stuff in the OP but a lot of reaches, stretches and hope, too.
Either way, I think the preponderance of evidence shows SOMETHING is happening but by its nature I believe it is over our heads. Just wish people would stop pretending to know what is what is by its own definition unknowable.
