Q's own words say they hold a DOE "Q" Clearance. Once you get high enough in the security clearance spectre, it switches to DOE, not DOD based. Mainly because the higher clearances also involve DOE work, due to the massive energy requirements for those programs. Any work involving electricity or nuclear power involve DOE. This includes Skunk Works/Area-51, Wright-Patterson AFB, etc.

Go back and re-read the original Q posts, the ones before they were signed as Q. It spells it all out. You can't just pick and choose what you believe from this posts. You either buy in fully, or you don't. And I you don't, then why be here?

Edit: Q also said, more than once, that it's a group of Patriots, "more than 1, less than 10."

Q isn't CERN, but could be involved with CERN thru the DOE "Q" Clearance program.
