When I was a science major there was no such thing as scientists saying no one was ever to "question the science".

The fucking entire point of science is to question literally everything in the galaxy, without any exceptions whatsoever, at any time, no matter who said it, who demonstrated it, what it is or where, etc. You literally get to—are EXPECTED to— question every single thing and never just swallow orthodoxy.

And anytime someone says they have a cure for a disease you listen to them, examine their findings, and celebrate the cure if it's true. Here they did the opposite so they could make more money and the maximum, rather than the minimum, number of people would die. Then they would blame the deaths on more disease they are causing
