I mean if you think, to name one example, Aphex Twin is "aping musicianship" I'm pretty sure you wouldn't know "musicianship" if it bonked you in the head. Edit 2: And if you need an example of organic electronic drums, some of the best ever, Freaky Chakra/Lowdown Motivator is first class. Meat Beat Manifesto also comes to mind.
