Always. ...

He started out by asking for a moment of silence where he read off the names of each individual reported killed in the recent TX school shooting, a bell ringing after each name. He repeatedly decried crazy leftist policies with regard to firearms, went through his resume of how he protected 2A. Early on he had Jack Wilson (who shot the church gunman) up to say a few words (@24:00) and Mr. Wilson was brief, but good - and got a big smile from POTUS and cheers from the crowd when he said that Trump is still the President.

POTUS focused a lot on what needs to be done to secure the schools, also mentioned that the left can send $40B to Ukraine but can't secure our schools.

One of the best things he said, IMO, was that he had given the individual states the leeway to get the rioting under control, but would not be so lenient during a second term. (He only skirted around the subject of a 2024+ presidency). He was basically saying these communists are going to be squashed like bugs (my interpretation, not his words). He mentioned that it was good in some ways that the great blue (democrat) failures (my term, not his) were allowed to happen so that people could see how bad the left is.

He exuded lots of confidence in taking control of the House and Senate this year at midterms. Called out the fake news. Called out some leftist mayors by name (including Lightfoot, of course). Called out loads of leftist failures. Lauded the NRA (of course).

Good crowd, good energy. Trump was very powerful and serious.

(Just off the top of my head. Others can feel free to weigh in also...)

Edit: I also thought Trump had a more biblical bent to this particularly in the beginning as he spoke of evil and defeating evil.
