So, been using the app Flowkey to learn piano since September. My problem is that there’s too much re-arranged pop stuff which might be popular with normies but which I don’t personally know or enjoy (what the f@#€k is « Adele »)?

So I cancelled the subscription (will take effect 2 months from now) and found an app called Synthesia in which I can import whatever music I want in MIDI format.

Since I play piano daily, my blood pressure has dropped 2 points.

Edit: Not far from my Burgundy house, is the one where the Great Alphonse de Lamartine lived. I visited it several times. There’s an evening salon with a piano. Lamartine is said to have spent numerous evenings there with his pals Victor Hugo and Franz Liszt. I guess when they were high on Pouilly Fuissé, Liszt would play such acrobatic masterpieces.🤩
