Doug Casey made an interesting observation.

Using Pareto's Law, he said that in any society, about 80% of the people are basically good, and 20% are bad.

Of the 20% who are bad, about 20% of those are really, really bad.

That's 4%.

You could go one step further and say 20% of those are truly evil. These are the psychopathic monsters who are too stupid or too inhuman to understand that they are evil. This is why they do not care about the suffering of others, and even take a twisted joy in it.

If those 0.8% truly evil people could figure out how to manipulate others to somehow rise to the top, and then ensure that only like-minded evil bastards are also able to rise up with them, then society has a whole has a serious problem to deal with.

It isn't so much that good people turn bad; it's that bad people recruit other bad people, and if they think they can get away with anything they want, then ...

Also, a side note (or not so much), think about who some of these individuals are: Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, Greta Thunberg, Evelyn Rothschild, etc. What do they all have in common? They are all EXTREMELY ugly people. Grotesque, even. No exceptions. I wonder if they hate themselves so much that their hatred is projected onto others. Just a curiosity.
