I don’t think this clip is a great example. He did say the tweet was wrong and that he didn’t agree with it almost immediately and continued to say it was wrong.

If you’re in any type of leadership position, making an informed on the spot decision that someone should be fired isn’t that simple.

I’m not excusing anything outside of this clip but this specific clip was to get a media bite. It’s actually pretty disingenuous to do what Gaetz did here.

It’s disheartening when we implement tactics like this from our side.
