Since Tulsa has come up here, I spent some time there. First in school at Okie State we'd go over there sometimes on weekends etc. Then I lived there a couple years. So I got to thinking, what would be a funny Tulsa story?

Well so me and my friends used to go to high-end stereo shops and demo the serious shit. Like the big Klipsch systems etc. And they were always happy to close the doors and crank the shit to show it off*. So one time this guy went with me who had never been to one (hence had no idea what a really good/big stereo can do) and I told him to bring a CD to test stuff with. He brought a jungle (what eventually came to be known as "drum and bass") one.

So we had a sales guy and were in the big-system room with Klipschorns. We did a couple rock CDs or whatever then my friend got his out. I fucking told the sales guy, be careful with this, it is serious. He kind of poo-poo'd me, because Klipschorns. Well the bass kicked in and I've never seen someone move so fast to turn shit down in my life.
