My guess is a faulty servo motor throwing a code to the electronic control module, causing a partial systems shutdown “safe mode”. This used to be called a FUBAR, but the terminology has recently been updated and is now called a Fetterman. The problem is that the McConnell or “MC” series is obsolete, parts are no longer produced and are hard to come by, furthermore the operating system is no longer supported. A real mess, I don’t envy the technician’s responsible for keeping that POS running. I’m thinking that they may scavenge some spare parts off John McCain as he is of the same “MC” series.
