I think we’ve already seen evidence to the contrary of General Flynn’s comments.

1. Admiral Rogers meeting with President-Elect Trump to brief and warn him.
2. A team of military officers execute a drill maneuver behind President Trump during his Inauguration Speech.
3. A room full of Generals standing with President Trump as he makes his “Quiet Before the Storm” comment.

I will say I seriously doubt we will ever see uniformed military members operating within our own borders. But, that doesn’t mean the military isn’t involved. My guess is the true meaning of “the only way is the military” means Military Intelligence and Military Courts, not some full scale deployment of the military.
