If you have no truth of God's Word then you have zero ammo to combat the lies. When I went to war we took ammo, none of us would have dreamed of showning up without the weapons of our warfare. God tells us spiritually what those are. Sword of the Spirit is the Word of God. wanna be spiritually powerful? you must have a proper diet of the rightly divided Word of God.
