AMC shares virtually nothing with GameStop in regard to conditions, community support, direct registration, or most importantly management/ownership.

Ryan Cohen of GameStop takes zero salary and instead chooses to get paid in stocks meaning if the company does good he makes money. The company does not do well he does not make money.

AMC on the other hand, when they're stock price went up there bored gave themselves all fat bonuses instead of putting that money back in towards the company and using it to innovate.

There's really not much of a path forward for movie theaters. GameStop on the other hand has a rapidly growing multi-billion dollar online gaming industry that it's actively tapping into plus some exciting partnerships currently and more on the horizon.

Dump the AMC and put everything into GameStop as soon as possible.

Slavery actually flies in the face of our foundational documents unless you dehumanize a certain class of people which is ironically exactly what abortion does.

What allowed slavery at a federal level was the dred Scott decision by the supreme Court in 1857. This ruled that African Americans weather enslaved or free were not citizens and The Constitution in the Bill of Rights didn't apply to them.

The same supreme Court that made a similar mistake with Roe v Wade. The same supreme Court that recognized gay marriage.

If we simply accepted the fact that African Americans were made in the image of God with all the inalienable rights of everyone else than we wouldn't have even needed the 13th amendment.

The federal government didn't free the slaves. They recognized they were people finally.

They weren't always kicked out of countries for the reasons we were told.

In 1492, King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella issued the Alhambra Decree, ordering the expulsion of all Jews from their kingdoms.... after several warnings and incidents of little girls being raped and Christian boys being sacrificed. (Allegedly)

I wasn't taught that in history, were you?

No they weren't following the law, they were following their traditions. HUGE DIFFERENCE. They were trying to outwardly appear holy but rejected what God taught.... Kinda like someone I'm talking to.

Listen I already thoroughly refuted your argument.

You're done. You are bleeding on the ground And at this point lashing out with stupidity.

I already said I thoroughly reject Catholicism. The fact that you're bringing it up again shows me that you're being intellectually dishonest and you really have no interest in what I'm saying.

Here is a simple question do modern day Christians follow OT laws? Do they make sacrifices and offerings? do they have a temple or a tabernacle as described in the OT? Do most of them eat pork?

You have no apparent understanding of the difference between Old testament laws and the holiness code. Jesus was the final sacrifice and offering that the Old testament pointed to. The same man that declared all foods clean.

We are done here. Have a great day.

The argument against the claim that Jesus taught Christians to reject religion can be made by examining His teachings and actions within the context of the Gospels. Here are several key points supported by scripture:

1. Jesus' Affirmation of the Law and the Prophets

Matthew 5:17-18 (ESV)

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished."

Jesus emphasizes that He did not come to abolish the Jewish religious law but to fulfill it. This indicates respect and continuity rather than a rejection of religious tradition.

2. Jesus' Participation in Jewish Religious Practices

Luke 4:16 (ESV)

"And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. And as was his custom, he went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and he stood up to read."

Jesus regularly participated in Jewish religious practices, such as attending synagogue services, indicating His support for organized worship and religious observance.

3. Jesus' Teaching on Worship

John 4:23-24 (ESV)

"But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."

While Jesus emphasizes the importance of worshiping in spirit and truth, He does not dismiss the importance of worship itself. Instead, He calls for a deeper, more genuine form of religious expression.

4. Jesus' Respect for Religious Authority

Matthew 23:2-3 (ESV)

"The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses' seat, so do and observe whatever they tell you, but not the works they do. For they preach, but do not practice."

Jesus acknowledges the authority of religious leaders (scribes and Pharisees) and instructs people to follow their teachings, although He criticizes their hypocrisy. This indicates an endorsement of the role of religious instruction.

5. The Great Commission

Matthew 28:19-20 (ESV)

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

In the Great Commission, Jesus commands His followers to teach and baptize, which are inherently religious activities, thus promoting the establishment and continuation of the Christian faith.

6. Establishment of the Church

Matthew 16:18 (ESV)

"And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

Jesus explicitly mentions building His church, indicating the formation of a structured religious community. This counters the idea that He advocated for rejecting organized religion.

7. The Institution of the Lord's Supper

Luke 22:19-20 (ESV)

"And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, 'This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.' And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, 'This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.'"

Jesus institutes the Lord’s Supper, a central religious ritual in Christianity, suggesting the importance of communal religious practices.

Conclusion

Jesus' teachings and actions, as recorded in the Gospels, demonstrate that He did not advocate for the rejection of religion. Instead, He sought to reform and fulfill existing religious practices, emphasizing genuine faith, sincere worship, and the establishment of a community of believers. His participation in religious customs, respect for religious authority, and instructions to His followers all support the argument that Jesus did not teach Christians to reject religion but to engage with it authentically and faithfully.

That being said I'm wholeheartedly and completely against the Catholic Church because it has an unbiblical structure and tries to put priests that don't even meet the biblical qualifications of a pastor or an elder as mediators between us and God.

But your position is completely undefensible and unbiblical.

Good day.

I'm with EndAbortionNow.com

We wrote the amicus brief that overturned Roe v Wade

We produced the two anti-abortion documentaries:

"Babies are murdered here"

"Babies are still murdered here"

We've accomplished more in a few short years on a shoestring budget than the pro-life establishment has accomplished in the last 30 years with untold millions of dollars. We've saved countless babies. We've lost count of how many at this point. We've also closed multiple abortion facilities. We've equipped multiple churches all over the world to fight abortion in a biblical manner. Leave published countless hours of content and training on YouTube. We've essentially changed the conversation and the way the issue is approached in large part.

I agree that incrementalism is why we're at where we are today which is why the existing pro-life establishment hates us because we're abolitionists. That's also why we're so successful, it's because we reject incrementalism.

That being said, states outlawing abortion (or upholding existing laws criminalizing abortion already on their books) isn't categorically incrementalism, that's a victory and ground taken.

Ultimately this is a state's issue. We would love the federal government to recognize the biological FACT than an unborn child is fully human from the moment of conception but God will ultimately turn the hearts and the minds of the nation through blessings and judgments of states prior to that.

God curses a land that sheds innocent blood.

States that criminalize abortion and uphold justice will have the curse lifted off of them. We will see a wonderful and frightening example of the states that allow human sacrifice versus states that do not.

I believe in a federal government so small than it can fit inside of a woman's body. In other words I don't believe that's the role of the federal government. Murder is a state issue. Always has been.

Their are not 9,000 religions. (I'll expand on that at the bottom of this post for anyone interested)

That is a BS atheist line.

And of course everybody believes their religion is right... That's the nature of truth. Logically either all religions or false or one is right. Those are the only two possibilities.

But speaking of truth... As an atheist you can't appeal to absolute truth because your worldview simply doesn't have the presuppositions in it to account for absolute truth, laws of logic, the principal of induction, or anything required to make any sort of truth claim or logic without borrowing from the Judeo-Christian worldview.

You're just matter floating through space acted upon by time and chance signifying nothing. Your brain is just a meat machine firing off electrical impulses based off of internal configuration and external stimuli. Basically you have brain fizz and you can't get truth from a chemical reaction.

I used to be a hardcore atheist but I was consistent so I was a nihilist because that's the only intellectually consistent position you can have as an atheist.

Q is not an atheist. Trump is not an atheist. This is good vs evil. 2 things that don't exist in your worldview. What are you doing here?

When focusing on top-level religions and ignoring the different sects and offshoots within each, there are generally considered to be a few primary world religions. These are broad categories that encompass the major religious traditions. Here are the main ones:

1. Christianity

  • Founded on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
  • Key texts: The Bible.

2. Islam

  • Based on the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad.
  • Key text: The Quran.

3. Hinduism

  • A diverse set of beliefs and practices that originated in the Indian subcontinent.
  • Key texts: The Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, and others.

4. Buddhism

  • Founded by Siddhartha Gautama (the Buddha).
  • Key texts: The Tripitaka (Pali Canon), Mahayana Sutras.

5. Sikhism

  • Founded by Guru Nanak and subsequent Gurus in the Punjab region.
  • Key text: The Guru Granth Sahib.

6. Judaism

  • The religion of the Jewish people, rooted in the covenant made between God and Abraham.
  • Key texts: The Tanakh (Hebrew Bible), Talmud.

7. Baha'i Faith

  • Founded by Baha'u'llah in the 19th century.
  • Key texts: The writings of Baha'u'llah, such as the Kitáb-i-Aqdas.

8. Jainism

  • An ancient Indian religion focused on non-violence and asceticism.
  • Key texts: Agamas and Siddhantas.

9. Shinto

  • The traditional religion of Japan focused on kami (spirits) and rituals.
  • Key texts: Kojiki, Nihon Shoki.

10. Taoism (Daoism)

  • A philosophical and religious tradition from China emphasizing living in harmony with the Tao.
  • Key texts: Tao Te Ching, Zhuangzi.

11. Confucianism

  • A philosophical and ethical system based on the teachings of Confucius.
  • Key texts: The Analects, Five Classics.

12. Zoroastrianism

  • One of the world's oldest continuously practiced religions, founded by the prophet Zoroaster in ancient Iran.
  • Key text: The Avesta.

13. Indigenous Religions

  • Various traditional belief systems practiced by indigenous peoples around the world. These are diverse and localized.

These top-level religions represent the broadest categories without delving into the various sects, denominations, and movements within each one.

If you get super liberal and creative with your numbers and you're just going for maximum results by counting every new age religion like scientology, different theological positions (like infant baptism) as two different religions, as well as syncretic blends like voodoo and Chinese folk religion You can get that number as high as about 4300.

But that 9000 number is just a lie and I hear it parroted by extremely unintelligent or dishonest people that consider themselves smarter than religious people constantly. It's a sure sign I'm talking to someone that's only looked into reasons to reject Christianity, not in to reasons it's true.

You didn't answer my question.

Which came first? States defined federal government and then the federal government coming around or the federal government acting first?

Try to be intellectually honest instead of trying to find a way to defend your position despite the short failings of it.

The only person that's talking about a civil war is you. If you think a bunch of blue hairs you're going to pick up guns (That most of them don't believe in and don't own) and start a civil War over abortion then you're delusional. They will go cry on TikTok with pussy hats on.

God calls us to establish justice. That starts locally that whatever level we can accomplish it at.

Remind me which did the right thing first .... The federal government or certain states that led to that?

Which lead and which followed?

I rest my case.

4
Datasinc 4 points ago +4 / -0

Exactly. There is no federal abortion law. Never was. Was always a states issue just like weed, just like marriage, just like many things.

States need to learn to ignore SCOTUS more often just like they did when SCOTUS said slavery was okay because blacks weren't equal.

The legislative body of the state and federal government make laws, not unelected judges.

I mean no Catholic Pope or even priest meets the biblical requirements of a pastor or elder that's laid forth in Scripture.

A pastor's REQUIRED to be MARRIED man with faithful Christian children. If a man can't lead his family, he certainly can't lead a church body. A pastor's relationship with his wife is two parts of a whole that should mirror Christ's relationship with the church, His bride, as He leads her. Then as it follows... The pastors relationship with his church body as the pastor leads them.

So to recap, not only is there no position of Pope in scripture, but the Pope and no unmarried Catholic priest even meets the biblical requirements of a church leadership position according to scripture.

God's word should always come before man's tradition. At least that's what Jesus and Moses and the apostles were teaching against the Pharisees and others.

No one is making fun of them.

Their faces have been replaced.

God bless them but this is a dig at Obama and Biden, not those sisters.

If you chose to be offended I'm sorry you feel that way. Others don't need to share your feelings or perspective. I certainly don't.

Yeah this is solid advice.

Also if you want to avoid short-term capital gains taxes if that's a thing in Canada, look into a Roth IRA. If you purchase your shares in that you can buy sell and trade your stocks in there with no tax penalties you just can't withdraw it until you're 59 and a half.

Holy shit I just had another realization....

The first time this methodology was used was by the music group Apex twin in the album ΔMi−1 = −∂Σn=1NDi[n][Σj∈C{i}Fji[n − 1] + Fexti[[n−1]] Here's a video

This album was released back in the '90s and this image wasn't discovered until 2001 by someone that discovered what look like a demon face at first who shared their findings on a forum but they weren't running it through the correct type of linear extrapolation. Somebody else ran it through correctly and it turned out to be the face of the guy that made the music. It starts at 5:27 on the track. Any interesting cue posts that line up with 527? That's the day after memorial Day

We have the best autism don't we?

Also his very last tweet was ET blasting off to Go home in his spaceship. For those that don't know EYs home is called the Green planet. Green = up / profitable.

If you don't own any GameStop or if you do and you're scared of the step and are considering selling or maybe you're having second thoughts about buying more..... BUY SOME ASAP!!!!

From what I just read today from their quarterly announcement plus some court dockets with the BBBY chapter 11, it's 100% a merger / acquisition. The financial show an unallotted purchase of approximately the same amount that it would have taken to buy BBBY ($273 million).

The multiple links between the law firms handling the bankruptcy and the co-ownership of the finance groups and everything else makes this clears day. It looks like they're going to do a share claw back and reissue new shares and equity of a new company forcing shorts to close/cover.

Short, SHORT-term this is EASILY an 8x play. Long-term this is like buying shares of Coca-Cola stock in 1919 for $40 a piece and each one of those with dividends reinvested being worth multimillion dollars of generational wealth.

100 bucks right now would buy you five shares. That doesn't sound like much but I'm not kidding when I say just that little amount of money could change your life.

DO IT!

Define "on"

Am I using the app to look at the 24 hour market action on weekends and nights? Yes since it's the best thing I've found to easily do so.

Do I have my shares on there? Certainly not. I was in this play before they shut off the buy button the first time. I've got OG ape status. My shares have been directly registered so long they're out of diapers .
