I am so glad to hear this. My church closed for a short time, though services were streamed into our homes (first time that happened) during the 2nd week. It streamed every Sunday until the lawyers figured out the legality of it all.
They still stream for older members who have a hard time getting to the church, or for those who are sick & wish to view at home.
Covid compelled our entire organization to jump into tech to make sure everyone was still able to participate & it oddly made many grow closer since the youth were teaching the older generation how to use their devices properly. Built some great relationships.
I learned on the Mel Bay books initially. I need to see if I have those still stored away at my parents' place.
I will certainly grasp my plectrum firmly & practice more.
In highschool I would pull out my guitar & make anyone sing the blues, didn't matter if they wanted to or not. Half the time they were laughing so hard because they didn't know what to say or what to do, though the riff just kept going & I paused until someone filled the awkward silence.

Saw it happen to a guy locally that had been cleared of charges with prejudice & the corrupt procecutor decided this guy needed to be taught a lesson & got him on some BS crime that any American might commit any day because we have so many weird felonies to punish us.

I have a friend that I have known for almost 39 years depending on how we look at it. We really grew close almost 10 year later, so 29ish years is probably a better time frame.
They are the friend I can call at anytime & if they aren't at work, they drop everything to help me. He accepts I am weird & laughs at how often I end up being right about "weird" stuff.
Great friends are a necessity in this world IMO.

Hitting the school hard legally so they never violate individual freedoms of staff or students might be a good way to go. If precedent is already set, this might be a walk in the park compared to what you went through already.
