Evacuations ordered after dozens of train cars derailed near New Mexico state line, some carrying propane
Thirty-five rail cars of a train derailed in New Mexico Friday afternoon, prompting evacuations and forcing a 50-mile stretch of Interstate 40 to close.
Have you guys seen as much mass transit and infrastructural disasters then when he took his position? It obviously happened but I feel it is either happening with greater frequency or it is much more noticeable now.
We need a train fag here, but I assume that the rails are not getting proper maintenance. Maybe they quit working on them during the covid, and they can't catch up.
I have a family member who does rail maintenance for a living. He works an insane amount of overtime because the company won't hire new workers. The stories I hear sound very unsafe for him and for all of the railroad employees.
What railroad does he work for? I work for BNSF and they're slashing OT like crazy
