I was the same way. By the time I was 9 years old I could tear down the Briggs &Stratton engine from my mini-bike and put it back together without issues or extra parts. All my relatives thought that I would be a mechanic when I grew up but, I loved it as a hobby and didn't want to ruin that by doing it for a living. I have made beer money by fixing stuff for friends over the years and would sooner buy the tools to do the job than pay someone else to do it. For the most part, if I can't fix something, it can't be fixed.

Unions are still usefull, just not for the people they claim to represent. Unions are usefull to the employers, businesses and politicians.

I agree. There was no need to guess when they told us how and what they were going to do through things like Lockstep and Event 201. It was all out in the open if you wanted to see it.

And was also the Joker in "Batman - The Animated Series".

It's ok to not know about that movie. It's not very good.

I think it's an accurate term. The government, be it municipal, state or federal, feigns incompetence while committing deliberate acts. They think it gives them plausible deniability but, we know better.

In Canada, the Co-op grocery stores are the most expensive places to buy food. Same with the Co-op gas stations. They are always the first ones to jack up the price. I have a Co-op membership but, hardly ever shop there anymore.

But if he had punched through it would have been over because he hit the sweet spot for sure>

IIRC, that's from Animal Farm. Same author, though.

The old guy needs to learn how to punch through the target. Soy Boy wouldn't have gotten up from that. Still, nice to see an entitled loser get smacked.

I suffer from regular sinus infections and I use Colloidal Silver in nasal sprayer. When I feel one starting I will give each nostril 2 shots, 3 times a day. That usually clears it up in a couple of days.

Retired now but, this is why I stopped working as much overtime as I used to when I was working. At a certain point you aren't making any money, just paying tax.

We used to call a guy at work a "Halfrican" all the time. White Mom and black dad.

On slightly different note, it's more likely that Obama is half Indonesian than he is half African. https://stateofthenation2012.com/?p=72280

That's the problem with most companies these days. Financial people running companies where they know absolutely nothing about the product and have no connection to it. All they know is business and how to get as much money from whatever company they are running/ruining before they resign and move on to the next one. I would love to see the golden parachute these Boeing guys are getting.

That depends on where in the US you are talking about. My point was that your claim of Canadians paying $8.00/gallon is misleading. Not all Canadians are paying that. Again, it depends on where you are talking about. And, it's set to go up again in a week when Castreau's carbon tax gets hiked up again. I don't disagree that we are being taxed to death.
