The big issue is that mandatory car insurance makes it, so people don't have to live with the consequences of their actions. I really hated wearing masks when the pandemic first started. Even when I had Covid, I refused to wear a mask or avoid crowds. However, I had to wear it a few times and I realized that people started treating me differently. I have terrible teeth and once people couldn't see those, they just treated me normally. I'm following orders like a soldier does. He is our commander in chief. If president Trump calls upon the military to go into battle, do they get a full explanation of what is happening? Do they get to decide which orders they should follow and which they shouldn't?
No, he's a really nice guy. I mean, working for the sheriff, sometimes he has to tackle people and arrest them, that kind of thing, but that's his job. He has a family to take care of, he can't afford to be fired, especially during the pandemic.
It's government tyranny. The effectiveness of seatbelts is questionable at best. Either way, it should be a choice, not something we're forced to do in the privacy of our own vehicles. The government should not be able to regulate any activity in a car as long as the driver can safely operate it.
