On a beautiful July 1st 1867 the inaugural Parliament went about the important business of forming a great nation. The first order of business was what to name it. After much debate with no progress parliament agreed to just put all of the letters of the alphabet in a hat and pull them randomly. The sergeant at arms then ceremoniously pulled the from the hat at read them aloud: C aye.N aye. D aye. π₯΄π
Never heard that one? #dadjokes
God Bless Canada. WWG1WGA!
