The difference is the willingness to lump actual real science - you know, the kind that for centuries has resulted in actual knowledge, awareness of how things work, technology, etc. Peer reviewed, repeatable, etc - in with "well we know the cabal did this so this calls into question all this" - it's ridiculous.
You wouldn't be sitting there communicating on your amazingly fascinating computing device (I'm not being sarcastic, just consider how much had to be discovered and developed to get us to this point - see the old show Connections for a great look into this kind of thing actually) - without actual science being actually real.
Unless you're a postmodernist and want to claim "well we don't have any proof we're really doing any of this" - and that's not an argument I'm going to entertain I'll tell you up front!
