I live in PA. At community days last weekend there was a First Baptist Church booth. I stopped by to see what they had. I always wanted to go to a service at a Baptist Church.
They were very friendly and welcoming. They introduced me to their preacher. They invited us to service on Sunday. They also had their band playing that afternoon. It was the most moving music I ever heard.
I asked the preacher does the church rock? He laughed and said when you leave the service you will feel that God touches you.
We are going to attend church this Sunday and they were excited that we are coming. We may be the only white people there but I am truly excited about attending the service.
I so regret not following my heart years ago when I heard the most wonderful gospel singing coming from a small chapel. Should have gone in, might have got saved sooner.
That is why I am going. I always wanted to. I was born and raised Catholic. Left after 58 years. I have been attending a good Bible based non denominational church since. I learned so much more than I ever did as a Catholic.
Good to hear. I was raised Catholic, went to a convent school that was horrendous and lost my faith. Never stopped believing in God, but drifted into all sorts of places looking for answers. Finally yielded when I was in a really tight spot and got saved. Never looked back - signs, wonders and miracles followed. I have changed beyond belief, all thanks to His mercy patience and love. Will never cease to be grateful for my new life in Jesus.

Good for you. It took me a while but grateful to be where I am.
