On the "aside" train here, I cannot lie, that one song with the noodly guitar part that everyone knows (and the only thing I could identify as "Santana") - I can't stand it, it's so cringe IMO.
So, different strokes and all that. Just speaking up for those in the same boat, it's ok to not be into the dude.
Nothing wrong with that. I could be wrong but I think there is a fair amount of occult symbolism on his album covers. For lots of folks (me included) it's hard to not stop what you're doing and head bob a little if "Smooth" comes on the radio (or whatever source the kids listen to these days).
That's ok people think I am nuts because I dont like Steve Miller Band. I guess if we all liked the same thing we only need one band.
