What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
Random question: What's a movie you hadn't heard of that a friend recommended that ended up being ridiculously good/a classic?
I have 2 - Office Space and Swingers. A friend insisted the former was great and I was like "I haven't even heard of it." He was like "you work in a cubicle" - we saw it in the theatre no less. Later on, same dude brought over Swingers and I was like "Is this like Eating Raoul".... What a hilarious film....
Spaceballs. Surprisingly funny and heartful for a spoof.
Agent Games. Every Anon will love it for sure.
Spaceballs - I like it actually way better than other MB (well, and Star Wars for that matter, ha). He has a tendency to go over the top, so as good as they are, I like it better than the ones regarded as his classics ("World" "Frankenstein" "Saddles") even though those all have some very hilarious parts. Candy and Pullman are a damn riot together which is probably a big part of it. And Moranis, good grief - IIRC he came up with stuff like the "playing with dolls" scene on his own and possibly ad-libbed....
AG - Never heard of it, will look into.
