What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
The best part is later in the song (and sampled kid's record) "Tim" is a robin that eats all the slugs. I hate fucking robins with a fucking passion due to their racket the instant the first photon from the sunrise bounces from over the horizon
Sounds like the troubles of a late bloomer, find yourself still struggling after the crack of noon?
I sympathize and prefer the company of bats over robins..
No, they start at like 3:30 in the morning, well into when any even insane person is still trying to sleep. I meant it when I said "the first photon BOUNCES over the horizon" as in off the top of the damn atmosphere
The horrible bastards
The horrible bastards.
Robin's breast is quite tasty.
I still prefer the company of bats...
I bet it is tasty.
Bats are way cool, there's lots of them in the open space behind my house this time of year, fun to watch in the evening.
Oh no! I love them. US robins are different to UK ones, ours are smaller, mostly solitary and sing beautifully. They nest in the oddest places; found one in between a stack of seed trays once. They are called the gardener's friend here as they always come to see what you are up to.
Interesting - US ones are pretty horrible
This does explain the nice bird noises on the record btw
Its song has been mistaken for a nightingale. An old robin kept me company when I was gardening once. I got it some bird seed which it ate up and then he sang to say thank you. Cheered me up :)
Neat. Yeah, US ones are more like a cacophonous bunch of clanky chirps. Like picture the Bugs Bunny "Little Red Riding Hood" when she's singing on her way to Gra'ma's, but in bird form
