It's a bunch of nonsense specifically geared toward derailing Christianity. Boil stories down to their most basic components and count the bones. Except, what if these stories across the ancient world were actually true, and the similarities are because of that, and not some strange glitch in human consciousness that likes particular tropes?
Yeah, I've read a bit on this. I guess it would be a popular topic with people like Deepak. Also they've updated Campbell in Hollywood -- there was this article that discussed Hollywood's "hero movie" plot formula. Campbell updated for modern times. It's basically the format they follow for all superhero movies now.
Glitches are strange. Premonition, shamanism, future-telling, stuff like that, are all sort of similar, founded on something science don't understand yet. I'm familiar with some of Graham Hancock's stuff and his efforts in trying to figure out ancient consciousness. Even Christianity doesn't escape its touch: Both Saint Malachy and the Third Fatima message predict the fall of Rome (Vatican?) and if they weren't accepted by the church, they could just as well have been labelled warlocks and witches.
