What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
Meditation. If you haven't learned how to do it, sounds weird. But it does put your mind in this relaxed state, time passes differently too (I've used it to shorten boring stuff like airplane flights, like when I can't actually sleep).
The basic technique I use is relax all muscles as much as possible - when starting out, go in order from the toes on up, fingers on in type thing, and try not to think about stuff, and focus visual attn (eyes closed) on a point maybe 2-3 feet in front of your head in space. If you do start thinking about stuff, visualize taking the thought and putting it in a balloon and letting it go or similar instead of letting it take hold. Once you get in the right state, its very relaxing, and it gets easy to achieve quickly as well.
Seeing your reply below about work load/hours etc this may in fact be really useful for you as a method to switch mental gears way down right when you need to.

Great suggestion. I’m going to look into techniques of meditation that can be done to help shift gears. Or even fit into my busy schedule. THANK YOU! Everyone has such great suggestions!
