Did Twisted Sister have any other songs that were hits? Dee has been living off the royalties from one song for his entire life so not very likely he'll have it pulled. Maybe that's why he's so upset - we own his song now and that is keeping libtard DJs from playing it as often, thereby reducing his only source of income.
"I wanna rock" was also a hit. So, 2 hits, though yes only the one still is the royalty moneymaker (which can be substantial, Dave Gahan of Depeche Mode famously remarked that "Just Can't Get Enough" was "going to keep Vince in corn flakes for the rest of his life" or something like that, which has basically proven true).
Interestingly, I read a bit in Vintage Guitar sometime in the last few years where the guitarist (Jay Jay French IIRC - very original naming scheme I might add), who manages their business etc and wrote a book about it, basically talks about how great he is at this aspect (because book etc) and he came across as really an insufferable douche for these 1.2 hits really.
