Depending on the rabbit holes you've gone down, and what you believe, I suspect we already have some type of space crafts up in space that are more than capable of deep space travel.
What you see is what we've got. There are no fancy "space weapons." We've been trying to build them since Project Defender in the 1960s, and the Strategic Defense Initiative in the 1980s, and the Airborne Laser in the 2010s, but the ideas all get shut down.
In the 1960s we had direct-ascent ASAT nukes (Air Force). Later, we now have direct-ascent kill vehicles (Navy). So, that's worth something.
