If people don't have family, they will be more likely to put themselves to death. If people have kids and family, they are more likely to live. Except for the martyrs "I don't want to be a burden". Then they will go also. Break up the family, make people believe that kids are "crotch goblins" and an impingement to your life, and you will get rid of dead weight when the time comes. Canada is a step ahead, but I can pretty much guarantee this is going on every where, and they are more than happy to break apart or not even have people create families so people, when they wear out their usefulness, will authorize offing themselves.
Some people with family members are assisting with accelerating a loved ones death, especially if they are set to inherit money. The state rules and hospital standards almost make it too easy to pivot from palliative care to "euthanasia" drug cocktails that facilitate death.
