I did a quick search for, "was sideny powell representing Trump" and found several article saying she is his former attorney. They were all mainstream media sites so though, I wouldn't trust anything they said. They could be calling her "Trump former attorney" just so they can associate the two.
My understanding of the background of this was Rudy Giuliani was the campaign's lawyer. Sidney Powell was announced and appeared as part of the team for like a week, but Rudy and her didn't get along. So she soon wasn't officially part of the team
