It’s an insurance policy. Why risk it. You never know what will happen over the next 4 years. They’re insuring that if something happens where they don’t control the voting machines anymore the most popular president with the most loyal base ever doesn’t even have the opportunity to run.

They would impeach him because that would prevent him from running next time. If he is impeached and the senate confirms it he is ineligible for office.
