This was to remove the Mob from Atlantic City. There is a thread here that details this, in part, through FBI memos and such. But it isn't as comprehensive as one I saw in early '21.
Trump and his brother wanted to open a casino in AC, but didn't want to deal with mobbed up gov't, or the mob itself. So he went to the FBI, (through an intermediary IIRC), and offered the Trump Organization's help in cleaning it all up.
The thread I read, detailed the entire operation through internal FBI memos and other documents. A lot of names we all know showed up in these documents. ?Sessions?, Rosen, Barr, and some of his present attorneys.
The thread I've seen that shows up here, every-so-often, is good. But it wasn't near as comprehensive as the earlier one.
At a glance, that's about 9 million in a 1.5 trillion spending bill. That'll bring down the debt. SMH!
