Bra sizing has been hijacked by companies like VS which only produce the most common sizes in vast quantities, then have their fitters offer you a "sister size" when your measurements don't fall into their ranges.

As it turns out, a 32D does not fit the same as a 30E, for example. While the cup volume is the same, the band size throws the fit off. And sizes like 30E, 32F, and 34G are not unusual measurements--they are just uncommon sizes to find in mass produced quantity.

While the deals are nice, the company is woke. It's also one of the L Brands owned by Les Wexner, billionaire benefactor who helped get Jeffrey Epstein started in his "career."

Beyond that, when I shopped there long ago, their business practices were horrible. I could write quite a bit calling them out for various things, including perpetuating stereotypes and promoting poor sizing. Decrease your band size and increase your cup size, ladies--most of us were lied to.

Before grabbing your pitchforks and torches, here's the Adoption and Safe Families Act for you to read.

https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/PLAW-105publ89/html/PLAW-105publ89.htm

The legislator who originally wrote this legislation is David Camp, a conservative from MI who is opposed to abortion, opposed to gay marriage, etc. Prior to this bill, group homes were far more common, and children had no time line for either reunification or another permanency plan.

Practically speaking, the ASFA seeks to prevent children from languishing in foster care indefinitely. Once a child has been in need of services 15/22 months, DCS is required to get that child a permanent placement. Also, even with this rule, a bio parent can make a move toward getting his/her child back after more than a year of being out of compliance, and the clock restarts on the process.

There are, like in all government agencies, corrupt and nefarious players. I've met some. If you want to fix this for the children involved, however, then become a foster parent who advocates for the child or become a case worker who is one of the good ones (I've met more of those than the bad ones). CASA volunteers are needed. Quality attorneys are needed.

Be careful of having your heartstrings pulled by stories of families whose children were "unjustly" removed. Press conferences are the parents putting their best face forward. I'm not suggesting guilt or innocence here; I'm saying that you are not seeing what a case worker sees.

I would live wherever my RV resides at the time. I was just on a beach in NC, toes in the cool Atlantic. By the end of the summer, I'll have been through the Rockies and as far as western NV. I'll most likely make it up to the north east shore of Lake Michigan, too. Ah, and then there's central FL.

Yes, you are correct. Striker is responding to Qtoad who mentioned Barron as the 48th president in four years. Age 22.

Preschool is exceptionally heinous, in my opinion. The concept claims that parents, who have just taught their child how to speak a language, are incapable of teaching them how to read and write the same language. Please tell me which adults are incapable of showing a child how to add two and one to get three or read and write the words "I am."

The government wants your kids in day care and preschool in order to subvert your authority. Don't comply.

Allow me to express my adoration of your impeccable use of a conjunctive adverb and its appropriate punctuation.

Also, kek!

Both commas are unnecessary, I believe.

We are two days away from the second anniversary of the original Psywar video. It was released on May 2, 2022. Why wait almost two years, and why three new videos in short succession?

I love a good theology discussion, so allow me to begin by saying that I love you as a sibling in Christ, OP. Thank you for sharing your faith boldly and being willing to engage with others about our Jesus.

As I understand it, in TULIP, the L for limited atonement doesn't just mean not all are saved; it means Jesus only died for the sins of the elect.

Many verses from scripture counter this doctrine of limited atonement, including 1 John 2:2, which says "He is the propitiation for our sins, not ours only but also for the sins of the whole world." Jesus's own words in John 3:16 are "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whosover believes in him should not perish but have eternal life" (both verses ESV).

What does the Calvinist say of these verses? And what verses are cited as supportive of limited atonement? I humbly ask these questions as one who is not a Calvinist but who is seeking to understand the doctrine.
