That's interesting. The innocuous reason for including infrasonic frequencies would be to heighten the emotional intensity of the scene. Like a sound track, but taken to the next level.

However, in this day and age it's naive to assume innocent motives. The intent is to manipulate us in a hidden manner. It's insidious and I wonder how many other programs (no pun intended) are doing the same thing.

I've had rats eat the wiring twice on my car. After the second time, I had the mechanic wrap the exposed wiring harnesses with rodent tape.
