Alvin Bragg’s Office Accused of Leaking Trump’s Potential Sentence to ‘The View’ --- Likely to Recommend a Year Behind Bars for Trump at Rikers Island

Now, ‘The View’ co-host Sunny Hostin, who seemed quite pleased with the developments, shared on the air that she had spoken with someone from Bragg’s office.

She described them as ‘street fighters,’ who indicated that Bragg might push for a tough one-year imprisonment, primarily to ensure Trump faces the daunting conditions of Rikers Island.

“I spent this morning speaking to someone from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. They’re called street fighters. He believes that they will recommend a one-year term in prison. And that is because when you spend a year in prison in New York or under, you serve in Rikers Island,” Austin said.

According to Hostin, this recommendation serves not just as punishment but as a stern message to society that such conduct will not be tolerated again.

118th CONGRESS

2d Session

H. R. 8081

IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

April 19, 2024

Mr. Thompson of Mississippi (for himself, Mr. Carter of Louisiana, Ms. Lee of California, Ms. Wilson of Florida, Ms. Clarke of New York, Mrs. Watson Coleman, Ms. Crockett, Mrs. Beatty, and Mr. Cohen) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary

A BILL

SEC. 2. DENYING CERTAIN FELONS SECRET SERVICE PROTECTION.

Section 3056(a) of title 18, United States Code, is amended by striking “declined.” and inserting “declined. The protection authorized in paragraphs (1) through (8) shall terminate for any person upon sentencing following conviction for a Federal or State offense that is punishable for a term of imprisonment of at least one year.”.

Today’s conviction was a weaponization of the judicial systembut there is more to come.

Alvin Bragg is funded by the state of New York, but Jack Smith is funded by the U.S. Congress led in the House by Mike Johnson, who refuses to defund the next sham conviction of Trump.

Harnwell: Cracks Widen In NATO As Italy Definitively Rules Out Letting Ukraine Strike Inside Russia

14:17

Biden’s claims to be uniting the West against Russian aggression have taken a blow as serious divisions break out into the open within NATO.The big surprise is that the first country to say a firm NO to Biden, Stoltenberg, Zelensky et alis Italy--- the European country that up until now had been the most slavishly “Atlanticist”.

Italian foreign minister Antonio Tajani claimed that the country’s constitution prohibited both Ukraine using its weapons to strike inside Russian territory and allowing of Italian troops to Ukraine: “We are not fighting against Russia. We are defending Ukraine, it’s not the same.”

What they are talking about is Ukraine going on the offensive, this is no longer defending their territory, big difference and poking the Bear. Moscow have warned the consequences, and Putin doesn’t bluff!

MIND GAMES How China’s shadowy ‘Brain Warfare’ unit is preparing for war with new mind-melting weapons to ‘paralyse’ enemies

https://www.the-sun.com/news/11510358/china-brain-warfare-mind-weapons-taiwan

CHINA is gearing up for all-out war by readying a disturbing trove of mind-melting weapons, experts have warned. It's feared Xi Jinping's regime could use the chilling weapons to target Taiwan's forces in the event of an invasion.

We reported last year on developments inside China's People's Liberation Army which pointed to the terrifying new tech. Xi's forces are thought to be looking at cognitive and biological weapons - designed to make their enemies fall asleep, impair alertness and damage decision-making.

Now, China experts have spoken to The Sun about the development of the game-changing weapons - and warned of a "terrible, brave new world". John Lee, a senior fellow at Hudson Institute and a former national security adviser in the Australian government, said the new weapons are designed to "defeat the enemy's mind".

Because "secrecy and transparency" forms a big part of Chinese policy, it is difficult to judge where exactly the regime might be at in developing these weapons, he said. But Lee added that there is evidence to suggest the Chinese People's Liberation Army is producing them.

And security expert Professor Anthony Glees told The Sun the threat of such formidable tech should be "taken very seriously indeed".

He said: "Microwaves can be used to cause cognitive fog, dizziness, loss of balance, anxiety and nausea as a weapon. "They could be aimed at a single specific target, say Taiwan's military control HQ." Research group The CCP Biothreats Initiative first shared the alarming development of China's cognitive warfare last year. https://www.ccpbiothreats.com. They suggested China is at the "forefront" of "advanced technologies" including "AI, brain-computer interfaces and novel biological weapons".

And that the regime - which has long posed a threat to smaller states like Taiwan - is looking at using them for "military strategies". Some of the tech could even precisely target specific soldiers or leaders in enemy groups. John told The Sun: "There is some evidence that the various Chinese entities do experiment and are developing these sorts of weapons. "They're weapons that essentially degrade the natural capability of the minds or the cognitive processes of particular targets." He said the PLA are interested in developing the tech to "defeat the enemy's mind, or subjugate the enemy's mind before the actual conflict or disagreement takes place".

John told The Sun that Beijing won't place any kind of limits on itself while developing these type of weapons. John told The Sun: "The sorts of ethical constraints that many of the advanced liberal democracies, have placed on themselves, the Chinese don't hold themselves to. "They consistently will refuse to come to any credible binding agreements on… constraints that we may mutually want to place on each other to prevent any kind of breakout into a terrible, brave new world."

Google Cloud error erases $135B pension fund

Hope King 5/31/24

Earlier this month, Google's cloud platform deleted the entire customer account, including some backups, of UniSuper.

Why it matters: Fortunately for the$135 billion Australian pension fund's 647,000 members, some of UniSuper's backups on Google Cloud's servers and elsewhere were salvageable, and the fund was able to recover its data, teaching us all a lesson about having multiple redundancies.

What they're saying: This was not a "systemic issue," Google says.

"An inadvertent misconfiguration" during a setup left a data field blank, which then triggered the system to automatically delete the account.

The big picture: Google is having a rough 2024. In addition to this mishap, the company is reeling from its AI Overview debut and its disastrous AI-generated image tool launch.

Editor's note: This story has been corrected to reflect that some of UniSuper's backups on Google Cloud's servers were not erased.

The Oscar-winning actor, 80, was set to be handed the group's Leadership Foundation's Service to America Award next week.

But the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) has rescinded the award after De Niro hit out at Donald Trump in a press conference in support of Joe Biden outside Manhattan Criminal Court on Tuesday.

Kremlin: NATO Weapons To Be Hit In Any Country From Where Russia May Be Attacked

Predictably, the Kremlin is fuming at widespread reports that the Biden administration has made a U-turn on its policy which previously prohibited Ukraine from attack Russian soil with US-supplied weaponry.

Former Russian president and current Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev has warned that Russian forces could strike back from any point where attacks are launched, including on "NATO specialists" advising Ukraine forces.

"NATO countries that have approved strikes with their weapons on Russian territory should be aware that their equipment and specialists will be destroyed not only in Ukraine, but also at any point from where Russian territory is attacked," he said on Telegram, according to TASS, also noting that "the participation of NATO specialists could be seen as a casus belli."

"All their military equipment and specialists fighting against us will be destroyed both on the territory of former Ukraine and on the territory of other countries, should strikes be carried out from there against Russian territory," Medvedev added in the warning.

He said that contrary to much of the West's attempts to obfuscate the reality, Ukraine's long-rage missile systems are actually "directly operated by servicemen from NATO countries." He said this is tantamount to these countries' direct participation in the war.

British long-range missiles already being used to strike Russia -- Ukrainian official

London had previously given Kiev permission to use UK-supplied weapons against targets deep in Russian territory

The Ukrainian military is already using British-made Storm Shadow missiles to strike targets deep in Russian territory, after being authorized to do so by London, Yuri Sak, Adviser to Ukraine’s Minister of Strategic Industries, has stated.

His comments come after British Foreign Secretary David Cameron stated earlier this month that Kiev has the right to strike Russia with weapons supplied by the UK.

In an interview with Bloomberg TV posted on Tuesday, Sak was asked if Ukraine’s forces intended to use foreign weaponsagainst targets far behind the Russia-Ukraine conflict frontline. He replied thatsuch incidents have already taken place.

“The United Kingdom has already previously allowed Ukraine to use their long-range missiles, Storm Shadows, and we have been successfully using them,” the adviser claimed, without providing any further details about these strikes.

Moscow has previously accused Kiev of using British weapons to carry out attacks against Russian regions. In early May, shortly after Cameron’s comments, Russian Foreign Ministry official Sergey Belyaev claimed that “UK-supplied weapons are being actively used by theUkrainian military in terrorist attacks on civilian infrastructure and the civilian population of Donbass, as well as other Russian regions.”

Meanwhile, Ukraine has continued to demand that more of its foreign backers give it the green light to use Western weapons to conduct strikes deep inside Russian territories. Aside from the UK, several other countries, including Poland and Latvia, have said they have no objections to such a use of their donated missiles.

Last week, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg also insisted that bloc members should allow Kiev to use their contributed weapons against Russia, arguing that maintaining a ban on such usage amounted to denying Ukraine the ability to defend itself.

Moscow, however, has sternly warned against such moves, with Russian President Vladimir Putin stressing on Tuesday that long-range strikes on Russia using Western weaponrywould represent a serious escalation of the conflict.

“This constant escalation can lead to serious consequences. If these serious consequences occur in Europe, how will the US behave, bearing in mind our parity in the field of strategic weapons? Hard to say. Do they want global conflict? ”Putin said.

Elites Found Another Way To Human Traffic Pretty Girls For The Obscenely Rich

Elites have found a way to make sex trafficking upscale with a new app, FlyMeOut.

While the app’s terms of service claim the company “stand[s] firmly against any form of exploitation, especially those involving minors or human trafficking,” this is essentially what it will be accomplishing. In what world will a wealthy man with access to a private jet and a sprawling suite with pool and dome views in Greece spend the time or money on an 18+ woman and not expect more than a smile when the sun goes down?

In the age of OnlyFans, our culture has become so disconnected from morality and desensitized by degeneracy that FlyMeOut will seem like a low-risk way for women without the means to travel themselves to find their way to beaches they otherwise wouldn’t. But at what cost?

Because we glorify instant gratification and trade sex for likes, it won’t even register to these women that their future husbands will be horrified to learn of their willingness to give themselves to a stranger for the chance to take Instagram pics on a beach. In ten years, Reddit will be filled with posts of 30-something men who found out that the mother of their children used to be a frequent flyer on beachthot.com and find themselves asking AITA (Am I The A**hole) for looking at my wife differently, knowing she sold her self for a trip to Dubi.

It’s hard to judge who is more in the wrong here. Is it the rich men who know their wealth can buy bodies or the women who know their bodies are up for sale? Either way, this can only end badly for the women used by FlyMeOut.

How are we supposed to market a traditional life with more meaning when our culture sells trips to Paris for the “small” price of women’s souls?

Neuralink rival sets brain-chip record with 4,096 electrodes on human brain

Precision expects its minimally invasive brain implant to hit the market next year.

The high density of electrodes allows neuroscientists to map the activity of neurons at unprecedented resolution, which will ultimately help them to better decode thoughts into intended actions.

Precision, like many of its rivals, has the preliminary goal of using its brain-computer interface (BCI) to restore speech and movement in patients, particularly those who have suffered a stroke or spinal cord injury. But Precision stands out from its competitors due to a notable split from one of the most high-profile BCI companies, Neuralink, owned by controversial billionaire Elon Musk.

Precision was co-founded by neurosurgeon and engineer Ben Rapoport, who was also a co-founder of Neuralink back in 2016. Rapoport later left the company and, in 2021, started rival Precision with three colleagues, two of whom had also been involved with Neuralink.

In a May 3 episode of The Wall Street Journal podcast The Future of Everything, Rapoport suggested he left Neuralink over safety concerns for the company's more invasive BCI implants.

To move neural interfaces from the world of science to the world of medicine, "safety is paramount," Rapoport said. "For a medical device, safety often implies minimal invasiveness," he added. Rapoport noted that in the early days of BCI development---including the use of the Utah Array—"there was this notion that in order to extract information-rich data from the brain, one needed to penetrate the brain with tiny little needlelike electrodes," he said. "And those have the drawback of doing some amount of brain damage when they're inserted into the brain. I felt that it was possible to extract information-rich data from the brain without damaging the brain." Precision was formed with that philosophy in mind—minimal invasiveness, scalability, and safety, he said.

Invention Secrecy Act of 1951 EXPOSED - Why Are They Hiding 6,000 Patents From YOU?

Patrick Bet- David discusses The Invention Secrecy Act of 1951, Why Are They Hiding 6,000 Patents From YOU?

This could be the start of public awakening on withheld technology particularly in energy.

RIP Stan Meyer

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Invention_Secrecy_Act

The Invention Secrecy Act of 1951 (Pub. L.Tooltip Public Law (United States) 82--256, 66 Stat. 3, enacted February 1, 1952, codified at 35 U.S.C. ch. 17) is a body of United States federal law designed to prevent disclosure of new inventions and technologies that, in the opinion of selected federal agencies, present an alleged threat to the economic stability or national security of the United States.

The Invention Secret Act allows the United States government to classify ideas and patents under "Secrecy Orders", which indefinitely restrict public knowledge of them.[1] The law applies to all inventions created in the United States regardless of what the idea or invention is.[2] All patents filed within the United States are required to be reviewed, and thousands of ideas and inventions are manually reviewed every year.[2][3] Any Federal government agency with "classifying powers" may request any patent be restricted under the Invention Secrecy Act.[4]

Ideas restricted by the Invention Secrecy Act's Secrecy Orders can be prohibited from any public disclosure; sales to any party except the United States military industry or exports to other nations can be prohibited; and can even be sealed from the public as classified.[5][6][1] Any appeals are limited to the United States Federal agency that itself restricted the ideas.[5] The United States Patent and Trademark Office has investigated the possibility of restricting new technologies if those new ideas may be disruptive to existing industries.[7] The Invention Secrecy Act has been criticized for lack of oversight and impacts on future scientific research by inventors, industry, attorneys and academics.[1][5][7][8]
