As Mearsheimer states, Netanyahu is against the current Aparteid and against a Two State Solution. So the only logical next move for Netanyahu is Ethnic Cleansing (of the available four options that Mearsheimer states in the talk). So then logic necessitates that Netanyahu launches an illegal war, or he could launch a legal response to an attack. And then logic predicts that Netanyahu would prefer an illegal attack on Israel to justify a response, which then asks the question of whether Netanyahu might prefer that option so much he might cause it to occur.
It is known that there was some form of "stand down order" on the border, on 10/7, prior to the attack. It is also put forward that most of the casualties in 10/7 were due to Israeli gunship helicopters firing on the crowd. It is also known that Netanyahu is to be deposed and tried for crimes, but this cannot occur if a war condition exists.
All of that drives to the conclusion that this is a war that Israel created, to justify genocide, and to take the spoils of war for themselves. Oil, gas, and real estate for the Ben Gurion Canal and "beach front real estate", as Jared Kushner called it.

Laws/Government Rules are always and everywhere imprecise tools.
"Property Owner" was used historically as a proxy for "responsible citizen who cares about the future of this society". I think it is still a decent proxy for that. If one can come up with a better way to approximate that needed criteria, I would support that as an alternative.
Someone who is not a responsible person with a duty to the society, or, worse, is a net drain on our society, should not be allowed to vote, as they will vote for more free shit for themselves.

I'd like to go back to the requirement that only property owners can vote.
If one has no stake in the future and no care for that future or one's posterity (because one had no children, or abandoned them), one should not be allowed to vote. I would be fine having that applied to all of us, including me of course. Because the net gain would be massive.
It's either that or the voting system of Starship Troopers: only retired military can vote. Because they learned discipline, hardship, and the cost. The cost of what we have. Implicit in this idea is that we get rid of the troons and psychos in the military.
