My tactics for keeping safe while trying to protect the client's property... I do not confront them aggressively. I help them find a better place to sleep nearby, and will sometimes give them some of my food. They will crash out in front of doors and parking garage gates and it's quite dangerous. My boss, a retired K-9 State Police gives them a bucks for breakfast (He works days) one time to make friends and they will then cooperate without trouble.

Often at night, they will just play possum and not respond. I have never had to call the police, but they don't respond very fast, for hours. So in the case of the aggressive homeless, I wait until my boss comes in and then it's a lot safer for 2 of us.

It's very rare to have problems, but who wants to be a victim? Most move along or play possum, maybe 10% are a threat.

All that get a job crap doesn't work. There are no jobs they can do, no one will hire them.
