Q doesn't have a say at all in the topic. There are 100% prophets of God who are patriots of the USA. God has many people in many different stations.

I would not let this eclipse take even a pinch of your worship. People are showing their true selves. I've never seen people act so fervently as a collective group. It's like a more drawn out "black Friday" experience for people. I guarantee the average person driving for this thing and being consumed in their lives by this thing are spending more time on it this year than they are Jesus or the Bible. It's sad.

You are not the first who has told me they are led to stay home during it.
Solemn is a great word to help describe what I have been feeling for some time and the sense the Holy Spirit has laid upon my heart.
I know people hate this, but my sense was this message of "You will have NOTHING to do with it" did not seem personal to me. It was like picking up a FM radio station as opposed to my Pandora station, if that makes sense. It was a message for all who cared to listen.

Why can't we come up with our own traditions that glorify Jesus? It's pretty easy to do.
The bigger question is why is it so hard for Christians to leave the pagan and secular behind? We can have fun! We ought to be! We are celebrating Jesus' victory over death, they are celebrating plastic China eggs and cartoon bunnies. We should be the ones setting the culture on this day.

The LORD is raising up lay people. Society lost sight of what a believer. Society pushed the priests and pastors as the professional religious and as teachers of all things God. God doesn't work like that though. He takes "nobodies" and uses them for His purposes. He takes the weak and makes them strong through His Holy Spirit. A time is coming because God is doing some Big things.

You and me both. He spoke into my life recently and told me, "your life's not falling apart, it's all coming together." It was really hard to accept given the destruction I see in my life with my eyes and what I hear with my ears. I wouldn't be able to go another step without Him. It's very challenging to accept.

What I wouldn't give to have an actual conversation with a Believer who didn't think they knew better than me on this topic. Even just someone who would willingly entertain and ponder the position.
I've seen a lot. As a Believer in Jesus and a former clinical psychologist I contend demonic possession is the only answer. There is no such thing as a mental disorder as it is used colloquially in the US.
At this point, 25% of Americans take drugs for their "mental.health" issue. We are in trouble. I will never understand why people get so defensive about demonic possession. Everyone's so unwilling to discuss the solution.
