Exactly. The excuse "in the name of science" and "for the greater good" should not be tolerated. The pharmaceutical companies have no desire to change because they are protected from liability and scrutiny.
I agree there are lot of moral and ethical questions that need to be asked. Transparency is needed and people should be able to choose by being informed properly.
