Yes, because this is their MO. Paul got off, they pushed his "court date" back two months...plenty of time to memory hole the entire thing while they have more distractions on the schedule.
I'm not saying something could potentially come from this, but this isn't a win.
Arraignments normally happen right after, you are correct. That's why this stinks, because it was pushed back two months. Two months is a long time for them to make this all disappear.
This is correct, but I'm pretty confident this is not the whole story or it's comms. The story I read whe it broke is that his BAC was .08, which is the legal limit, and about 3 glasses of wine for an elderly man of his size. I don't believe he would have been booked if thar is what it was.
He killed his brother drunk driving, but thar was decades ago and won't be a factor, but I think he has had other duis in the past ten years which will make for a harser penalty (or would for any plebs in that situation ).
Other points include, waited 4 hours to test (or earlier were lost), and those other duis...they were a bit to quick to claim "that was a different Paul Pelosi"...could be...he does have a son. Either way as I see it the DA hasn't reversed jack.

Not his court date...his arraignment. I'm thinking arraignment generally happens in 24 hours or so and then it's set for court date...could be wrong.
