I'm no lawyer, so, in the most hopeful light, I think Durham just needs to convict a couple of low/mid level actors to 'prove' there is a documentable conspiracy and then higher ups will start making deals. Someone critical (Priestap? if he's not already dished dirt) will take the hook after Durham has a couple of wins.
And I'm also holding out hope because of the GITMO additional courtroom construction and increased capacity of holding facilities as reported by Catherine Herridge. And... (I suspect that) the 'big fish' would have such serious charges out there (treason? murder?) that there is no 'time limit' on going after those people for something to put them away for good. Wish someone would confirm if this makes sense.
