Adding a little more to this comment - There's nothing more attractive than a self-confident person. This has nothing to do with 'beauty' or money. Make sure you're putting your best 'you' forward, even if it's only externally at first, because the insides will follow. (Fake it 'til you make it, as they say.) Get up out of bed at a reasonable time each day, groom yourself well, and always be presentable, punctual and as pleasant as possible whether at work, your daughter's school or any other events. Your own mood will improve and that will attract attention at work in terms for advancement, and outside of work in obtaining new friends and eventually a new partner when you are ready. Once the current Mrs sees this, it will absolutely kill her. She now thinks she is in the driver's seat but once she sees that you have options, expect some new-found attention from her. What you do with that is up to you. I hope you will follow up with us.
